A (seed stage) venture-funded startup is looking for web development/computer science developers and interns to join the foundation of the team. You should understand internet technologies and building new media applications. You will be working on core development of consumer facing websites and have a chance to participate in the formative stages of design and architecture as well.
Specifically, you would have:
* Completed or working towards a B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field
* Strong programming skills (C/C++/Java/PHP)
* Familiarity with relational database concepts and design

Company Description: Scrapa is a new startup being launched by two MBA students at Haas. Scrapa is focused on finding a new way to open up scrapbooking to the masses. Scrapbooking is a $3 billion a year business selling paper and supplies to mothers. The hobby is incredibly expensive and time consuming. Scrapa has created (preview.scrapa.com) an online scrapbook creation tool where users will be able to quickly assemble a scrapbooking page (15 minutes versus several hours). When they click print we’ll print out all the layers of paper needed for each page, and using digital cutters we’ll cut out all the shapes. We’ll send the kit (essentially a model airplane kit for moms) to our customer who will assemble it in a matter of minutes.
Job Description:
* Develop Testing Tools for rapid testing and iteration of product
* Refine current application
* Work with founders in customer development
Job Qualifications: The ideal candidate would have web development experience and have some experience with Flex and Flash development.

Job Qualifications: EECS or CS major who’s taken CS 184 and/or has a background in graphics. Experience using Maya, Lightwave or any other 3-D modeling software a plus. Experience with Open GL and Open GL ES also a big plus.
