There has been some speculation that Facebook will be directly integrated into iPhone OS 4.0 (http://gizmodo.com/5537445/facebook-might-be-built-into-iphone-os-4). What does this say/imply about the future of social media and mobile platforms? How will this further differentiate Facebook from other social media networks such as Twitter and Linkedin? If the rumors are true, does allowing Facebook to have direct access to your phone a good thing? How would this correlate with mobile advertising?

There has been pictures/articles released on the internet that would imply video-calling capability with the next generation iPhone. In addition, Google has introduced Fring, their upcoming two-way-video calling software for their mobile operating system (http://gizmodo.com/5549494/fring-for-android-is-two+way-video-calling-from-the-future?skyline=true&s=i). Will video calling become mainstream in the United States? How will the availability of (mobile) video calling in the United States change the way we use our cell phones- from how we pay for the service (minutes/data), to our usage behavior (new laws and regulations regarding video calling, implicit privacy concerns, social media integration with video calling, etc.)?

Do you have any advice for entrepreneurs wanting to take advantage of the upcoming video calling, and advertising platforms for the mobile phones market?

Do you think Facebook’s open graph poses a threat to Google and hyperlinks as a whole?

Do you think privacy issues with Facebook will cause the popular social network to lose a majority of its users? Do you think QuitFacebookDay.com will generate strong movement? Should users expect to have some privacy violated when using these networks?

At what stage does it make sense to try and get our startup or project featured on Mashable? What would you like to see and write about?
